Dude, I am also ready to spend all of my free time on the weekends (actually most if it cause I do need to spend time with the wife) to write articles on about every single game I work.
OK, so one thing I am gonna try do this season is not eat as much stadium food as I normally would. I am trying to be healthy and whatever I have been doing and am doing is working and I don’t to ruin it. I will plan a snack run this weekend for football games and my desk at work. But to be brutally honest, sometimes the smell of food is so overwhelming especially at East Central, that you have to give in and let the food take over your body. Dude, the television games are gonna be hard cause they always have a restaurant catering lunch (tomorrow is Papoulis Greek Grill) and the main sponsor is Church’s Chicken. I am gonna stop talking about food cause I am making myself hungry.
I canceled my Planet Fitness membership this month. I still am gonna walk on Sunday’s with my Dad. Standing on one’s feet for 3 hours and 3 times a week is exercise, right? Oh, hanging banners in extreme heat is exercise, right?
When last season ended, my only complaint was my feet hurt from standing! Well, I got a really comfortable pair of New Balance sneakers a few months ago and I really hope they make my feet feel great. I will know after Saturday’s game!!!
It will be a relatively easy first week for me. I am off from the “real job” on Friday and Monday and am glad I got a 4 day weekend as I have not yet gotten my brain used to an earlier schedule and I am still recovering from my vacation last week in Atlanta (I am planning to publish photos and my thoughts on all the zombies I didn’t see in a few weeks).
HERE IS MY WEEK 0 SCHEDULE:
On Thursday, I will be at Gustafson stadium for Roosevelt VS Stevens (KMYS.TV/TNL).
On Friday, I will be at Lake Travis stadium for Judson VS Lake Travis (TSRNsports.com).
On Saturday, I will be at Gustafson stadium again for MacArthur VS Warren (TSRNsports.com).
And, next Monday, I will publish new photos of the renovation at Alamo stadium and the convocation center.
