As a High School statistician in San Antonio since 1997, I am trained to watch the quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers.
On Friday, August 28th 2015, I will be at Heroes stadium in San Antonio watching the Reagan Rattlers host the O’Connor Panthers. This game will feature one of the top quarterbacks and running backs in San Antonio. The quarterback from Reagan is Kellen Mond. Last year, as a sophomore, Mond was 139 for 232 passing with 1,745 yards and 20 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. He also ran the ball 165 times for 1,142 yards with 14 touchdowns. In the two Reagan playoff games I worked last year, Mond had a total of 531 yards with 5 touchdowns! The running back from O’Connor is senior Jamontae Edwards. He had 194 rushing yards in the first game and 199 rushing yards in the second game. Unfortunately, that was all he did as he suffered a season-ending injury in the second game. I really hope he is fully recovered.
