Last night, I was at Bobcat stadium in San Marcos for the Brennan Bears and the Cedar Park Vista Ridge Rangers.
It was an awesome game that came down to the last possession and Makai Green, the Brennan running back, converted a third down conversion by the nose of the football that allowed the Bears to run the clock to triple zero and win the game by a score of 31-28. WOW!!!! The Bears remain undefeated!!!

Even though the Brennan offense or should I say the running game wasn‘t impressive, the defense forced 4 turnovers and the special teams scored a touchdown. Brennan capitalized on those turnovers by scoring on em.
I was really impressed with the two running backs for Vista Ridge, Senior Adrian Duncan and Junior Stedman Mayberry. Duncan had a total of 158 yards and scored 4 touchdowns…2 rushing and 2 receiving. Mayberry had 19 carries for 151 yards.
Brennan will play Edcouch-Elsa next Friday at 7:30pm at Javelina stadium in Kingsville.
I am taking some time off from the blog to spend some time with the family, but don’t worry folks, I will be back for Week 14. So, have a great week and enjoy all the football games.
