How many of you turned the television off after the Spurs got down by 24 point in Game 3? I didn’t! That was an unbelievable finish; I mean, to be down 24 points and win the game by 10, absolutely fucking amazing.
The 24-0 run by the Spurs in the 3rd quarter on Saturday afternoon reminded me of the Spurs Vs Dallas Mavericks Game 7 of the 2003 Western Conference Finals at Dallas. The Spurs were down by 13 points early in the 4th quarter and in a blink of an eye, the Spurs went on a 23-0 run behind the three point shooting of Manu, Stephen Jackson, and Steve Kerr. The Spurs won that game and ultimately ended up winning the 2003 NBA Championship. Tim and Tony were on that team!
If the Clippers were gonna win any game, Game 4 was there only chance. This game was a battle till the end and I am so glad the Spurs came out victorious. It was hard for me to go to sleep after the final buzzer; I was excited and was thinking, holy crap, the Spurs are in the Western Conference Finals.
Dude, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan are dunking beasts. I was really impressed by Eric Bledsoe, he was a bench player for Kentucky just 3 years ago.
Right now it looks like the Spurs will play the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals. The Thunder are one of the teams that could crash the Spurs 2012 Playoff run. I know this series will be more competitive than the Jazz and the Clippers.
Now for my bold prediction: The Spurs have too much depth and they will represent the West in the 2012 NBA Championship. I am not saying how many games since I have been wrong twice already.
