will one player make a difference

Ok, so you’re down 2 games to zero in a best of seven series…Game 1, you lost by 17 and Game 2, you lost by 35.    Your best defender is hurt and did’n’t play in the first 2 games, but you still got the current MVP and you also have an all-star point guard.    And, somehow miraculously, the best defender is now listed as day-to-day and could possibly play.  Now, the whole town and the media think you have a chance of winning.

But, will the addition of Serge Ibaka really make a difference in the series?   I don’t think so.  I mean, right now, the Spurs are playing so well on both ends and if the Thunder role players don’t step up, this series will be over in 4 or 5 games!!!  Plus, Ibaka isn’t going to be 100 percent and that may limit his mobility.

Personally, I think Ibaka should not play.  You don’t want to risk injuring him more and risking next season.

I know I am not the only one who dislikes the NBA playoff schedule. Game 1 was on Monday and Game 2 was on Wednesday.  Tomorrow, is Game 3.  WTF!!!   Three days off is good for the Spurs but for me, dude, I want them to play every other day!!!  Less time for the media to analyze the rest of series!!!
